6/27/2023 0 Comments Ashes by Erin Cofran![]() ![]() I want to talk less about the plot of Ashes of the Tyrant (to avoid spoilers) and more about Evans as an author and how she fits nicely into the overall strategy of the Forgotten Realms. So let me give you my review of Ashes of the Tyrant, but with a slight twist. Ashes of the Tyrant is a FANTASTIC addition to the D&D novel series. ![]() I learned the error of my ways after I read Ashes of the Tyrant, realizing my acquaintance was backwards bananapants bonkers. Man, that did work out the way I had hoped. I haven’t made such a huge error in judgment since the time I thought I could make a quart of Cherry Garcia last a whole week. An acquaintance told me that I should stay away from the D&D books written by Erin Evans because they are “lovelorn angsty.” I unfortunately listened to that advice, skipping Brimstone Angels and The Adversary. ![]()
